A new upgraded refugee camp is being constructed at the Bosnian Army's new airfield noted on the NIMA/NGA map of the Jablanica AOR. The picture above is of that facility. It is run by the UNHCR. Mostar has 35% Muslim, 19% Serb, 34 % Croat, and 12% Yugoslavian; Jablanica has 72% Muslim, 4% Serb, 18% Croat, and 6% Yugoslavian; Prozar is 37% Muslim, 0% Serb, 62% Croat, and 1% Yugoslavian. The areas with the black dots are over 66% Croat, the areas with the dashed lines are less than 50% Muslim, and the area with the solid lines is between 50-60% Muslim. The solid black areas are over 66% Serb. It is less than 100 Kms from Ploce to Jablanica on highway 17 which is indicated by the black line between the two cities. RECENT SIMULATIONS The following pictures were taken at a wargame simulation conducted the last quarter of 2006. The two individuals in the first picture were part of the simulation. The gentleman portrayed the local Militia Commander, and the young lady portrayed an ITN Journalist.
Here again you can see some of the individually mounted 1/285th scale and 1/220th scale figures used for civilians, plus the dogs, swing-set, Jaguar, GHQ truck and SA-8, scale UN helicopter, etc., used to make the simulation as real as possible.
